Darrell K Champion
 
I am the eldest son of the late George and Runette Champion.  The late Elder Lee and Jimmie Lee Champion were my grandparents.  My wife Cynthia and I have been married for 40 years and we have two daughters: Tiffany and Candice; along with two grandchildren, A’Mere (2) and Indya Rae (1). 
 
I served and retired from the United States Navy with 30 years of service.  I’ve had the pleasure of visiting far too many countries to list.  Educationally, I have a Master’s in Leadership, Bachelor’s in Business, Biblical Studies and Christian Education, and Associates in General Studies, Divinity, and Religious Education. 
 
I’ve lived in Gulfport, MS for the past 24 years and attend Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church whereby I served 18 years as a Deacon, 6 years as President of the Usher Board, 4 years as President of the Pastor’s Aide Ministry, 6 years as President of the Men’s Laymen Ministry, 10 years as Youth Ministry Liaison, and the past 4 years as Associate Minister to the Pastor. 
 
My wife and I love traveling in our spare time… Cruising the high seas brings us the most joy; second to that is cruising in our lil’ red Thunderbird… It’s all about making family memories and spending precious time together.
